Microsoft Surface & Windows 11 Fall Event
At the 2022 Microsoft Surface and Windows Fall Event, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Surface with the launch of new devices including Surface Pro 9, Surface Laptop 5, and Surface Studio 2+, alongside software innovations like the AI-powered Microsoft Designer app. The event highlighted a decade of design and engineering progress while showcasing Microsoft’s continued commitment to seamless hardware-software integration and AI-enhanced experiences.
My role
I stepped in to lead digital event coordination on behalf of my organization during the Microsoft Surface and Windows 11 Fall Event, filling in for the Communications Director while delivering my usual role as Visual Communications Director. I oversaw the full production process—from script development and rehearsals to visual asset creation, location and wardrobe planning, and final post-production editing of the event deliverables.
I directed the internal Visual Design team on what assets were needed, including timing and execution—whether rendering 3D footage or animating UI files from Figma. In post-production, I sat with editors and I served as the final decision-maker on b-roll selection, executed strategic edits for pacing and clarity, and ensured the event’s core news and messaging were delivered effectively and cohesively.
